Not handy with a hammer? Perhaps you can't make it out to one of our
build sites, but would still like to help GMHfH? Well you can! It takes a
village, in fact, it takes a whole community to step up to the challenge of
eliminating poverty housing. We need volunteers to help us in a variety of
roles on and off the construction site. Many you can do from the comfort of
your own home. Below are just a few of the volunteer positions we need to
fill.

We need a few experienced Carpenters/builders that would be willing to not swing a hammer. Yes, that's
what we said, not swing a hammer. We have many volunteers that want to help build our houses and we are in need of a few skilled men and women that would be willing to show others how to build. If you are willing to give a
few days to lend a hand please contact Dick Shasteen at

If you would like to help Habitat from your home, grant writing could be the way you can. We need an experienced person to help us apply for grants to help us build Habitat homes. There are grants that we are passing up applying for because we just can’t get to them. If you would like to know more please email Ted Johnson, Marketing Committee Chair.
