The Burlington Free Press wrote an article on February 7th about our upcoming build project in Charlotte.

"CHARLOTTE -- The first Habitat for Humanity home to be built in Charlotte is slated for construction this summer. It will be the first in Charlotte -- and it also will take the lead in energy efficiency among Habitat homes in New England."

"It's common for Habitat houses to be Energy Star-qualified and to contain environmentally preferred materials. Tamira Martel at Shearer ChevroletGreen Mountain Habitat for Humanity owes much of its success to the charitable support we receive from our corporate sponsors. We depend on their generosity and community involvement to help us build more houses to help more local families in need.

GMHfH hopes you will support those local businesses that support us. For more than eighty years, people from all over Vermont and neighboring states have been buying cars and trucks from Shearer.
