What is our Congregation Relations Committee?
Habitat For Humanity’s goal of building decent and affordable houses with and for all of God’s people of modest means is a mission of faith working with congregations throughout the world. Our Congregation Relations Committee seeks to establish and nurture a close working relationship between the Affiliate and the faith communities in Chittenden County to accomplish that goal.
Members of the Committee provide their congregations with information that educates and stimulates actions that result in building good homes in partnership with families that would otherwise not be able to afford them.
Interested in joining the Congregation Relations Committee?
A member can contribute to the work of the Committee by being able to:
- Approach individuals about involving their congregations in Habitat’s work.

Committee members can be persons who are clergy, laity, homeowners, and members of church mission committees.
