Each year after the long hold of winter, the arrival of spring gives all of us in Vermont a renewed optimism and hope. How fitting, then, that this year spring includes the dedication of two homes and ground breaking for a third. The optimism and excitement of these three families far exceeds what the season brings. We feel the power of a newly hopeful future, with stability, security, sustainability and peace of mind. We look ahead with restored faith in our ability to succeed, and with the strength that comes from deep gratitude. In a world sometimes darkened by seasons of bleakness, Habitat for Humanity brings an early sunrise and longer days filled with light.

 Volunteer Update

There are new volunteer opportunities posted on our calendar on the website. We are in need of volunteers to assist with a rehab project in Essex Junction over the next few weeks. To register for an opening, please go to the website and click the blue volunteer button. We will be posting other opportunities soon for Charlotte construction, so please stay tuned!
